Bishop’s Convocation
The annual theological conference of the Central States Synod, ELCA. It is an opportunity for leaders — lay and ordained — to gather and learn. The program costs are subsidized by the synod. Spouses or significant others are welcome as full participants; lay leaders are invited to attend. The dates for Convo 2011 are November 8-10. Place: Lodge of the Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, Mo.
Faith and Wisdom
The Department for Ecumenical Affairs (ELCA), in cooperation with the Division for Ministry, eight partner denominations, and 200 regional organizations, now offers www.FaithandWisdom.org. Congregations can use this unique, non-commercial resource to find ecumenical – and other – events online. With over 15,000 events posted to date, thousands of people use this site each year.
