The Central States Synod has designated the Epiphany Season as a Season of Global Awareness. Each year since 2003 resolutions have been passed at the Synod Assembly that encourages all congregations to nurture their relationships with our Companion Synods (the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia and Other States) during the Epiphany Season.

Greetings from Papua New Guinea!

We're sending a short letter/update to keep you abreast of our lives here in Papua New Guinea. It has now been eight months since we arrived and we feel very much integrated into the life and ministry of ELC-PNG and our Ampo community.

We composed this a week ago and I have to admit it has taken a week to get it sent.......between power outages and internet inconsistency. We apologize for the lapses but know that we are well and keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I have been able to do a couple blog postings, too---sorry, no pictures!

Blessings to you and Thank you for your prayers and support.....or as we would say in Pidgin "mi tok bikpela tenkyu long prea bilong yupela!
